Swimwear that covers your bottom and thighs – note that Little Lake’s water is brown and may stain light coloured swimwear
Water shoes (not black-soled) or grip socks – grip socks are also available for purchase online and on site
Towel
Sunscreen (marine-friendly)
Insect Repellant
Water bottle
Bathing suit (It is best if you arrive with it on
Sunglasses (for when you’re not on the water)

We do not recommend bringing goggles. The water is quite dark and the waterpark is quite challenging – goggles may get lost or cause injury.

FAQ
FAQ
We recommend showing up ready to go. Though we have some space to change, it is limited, so coming all ready in your swim gear will make your check-in experience just that much smoother.
While we absolutely adore furry friends it is important we provide a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests. We ask that you do not bring a pet to Splashifax.
Little Lake is a healthy freshwater lake. The brown water is just like tea – except that it is dissolved organic matter (organic carbon and iron) that comes from trees, leaves, and other vegetation. This typically happens in lakes that are surrounded by wetlands and forests – just like Little Lake is. The extra colour in the water makes the lake more resistant to algae blooms. We are testing the water regularly for coliform, e.coli, phosphorus, Nitrogen, and water temperature. In the unlikely event that it becomes unsafe to swim in we will work with the guests scheduled that day to reschedule to a time that is safer to do so.
Little Lake is part of the Bridgewater Watershed and its waters are very important to the residents and wildlife of the area. We work very closely with a variety of government bodies to ensure the waters remain healthy.
Splashifax requires that our guests be above the age of 5 to participate. This is due to the manufacturer’s advice, insurance, and life jacket requirements. We also require that those aged 12 and under have a guardian to also purchase a Splash Pass and go out on the park with them (this includes getting into the water).
As per our insurance, every single person on the park must be wearing a certified life jacket. We provide life jackets. We have life jackets to support weights starting at 30lbs and up to chest circumferences of 60 inches.
You can also bring your own life jacket if that makes you more comfortable! We will check to make sure it is properly certified by Transport Canada. Self inflating lifejackets are not permitted even if they are approved by Transport Canada.
No, we do not provide secure and/or weather resistant storage for your belongings – please dress and pack accordingly.
We do not condone the use of alcohol and/or drugs while at Splashifax. Being under the influence of any drug makes this fun experience dangerous for both you, and those around you.
Splashifax is a park inflated with air, which is so fun, but can also POP. We require that rings and sharp earrings be removed before enjoying the park. If you cannot remove your rings, we can duct tape them to your finger to not only ensure that they do not puncture the park, but to make sure your valuable item stays on your finger and does not end up in the lake. We encourage the removal of watches, necklaces, and anything you find valuable as once it ends up in the water, the employees cannot retrieve it for you.
We are all about making as little impact as possible on our environment and this is why we encourage all of our guests to wear marine-friendly sunscreen to enjoy our park. Sunscreens containing Petrolatum, Oxybenzone, and Octinoxate are very harmful, and sometimes fatal, to waterfowl and all other aquatic life. Here are some sunscreens that we find safe for both you and our underwater friends (plus, they also support local Canadian companies!):
Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Face and Body Natural Sunscreen SPF 31
Consonant Skin+Care The Perfect Sunscreen Pure Unscented SPF 30
ATTITUDE Mineral Sunscreen Stick Unscented SPF 30
Matter Company Substance Unscented Natural Sun Care Creme SPF 30
